Block Shop Books

We are Jo Treggiari – a best-selling and award-winning Young Adult author- and Anne-Marie Sheppard - a former lawyer and hobby illustrator - and we have always loved books. Block Shop Books (formerly known as Lexicon Books) is a small but mighty curated bookstore located in the historic building named for the wooden blocks or pulleys that were crafted here for Lunenburg’s sleek sailing ships. Block Shop Books offers a wide array of fine literature, non-fiction, selections for children and teens, local interest, graphic novels and poetry. Being an active part of our diverse community is important to us. We host book launches and author readings and are a safe space for all ages.
